The Time for Talk is Over
As gasoline prices rocket past $4.00 per gallon
with no end in sight, is there any doubt among us that America must become
energy independent?
With our climate in peril, is there any doubt
that we must shift to clean energy? Whether it be electric, hydrogen fuel
cell, wind, solar, or nuclear power, the time is now to begin that shift.
The problem, of course, is that there are 100
million gasoline burning cars on the roads of America. We haven't built a
nuclear power plant in decades, and the oil companies and environmentalists literally own our
government. Even if we wanted to, and could afford to, we simply can't just
begin driving electric cars tomorrow.
Somehow, we must bridge the gap from where we
are now to where we want to be. I believe if we do a few simple things as a
nation we can be free of oil completely by the mid 2020's.
In the meantime, we must have fuel we can
afford to keep our cars running, keep air travel affordable, and to keep the
trucks that deliver food and products to store shelves. We cannot go
bankrupt trying to become energy independent.
My plan would...
- Reduce the price of oil by 50-60% in a
matter of weeks.
- Create $80-100 billion dollars per year in
private investment to develop new, clean sources of energy made in the
USA.
- Insure that America is completely free of
the need of all oil no later than the mid 2020's.
This can happen. But, YOU have to take
action. YOU have to demand that the government act, and if they don't you
must use the ballot box to elect those who will. Only YOU have the power to
change the world.
Sign the petition, and I will present all
signatures to Congress telling them that We the People demand that they act
now to solve our energy crisis. If they don't, we'll elect those that will.
Together, we can kick our oil
addiction, and create a cleaner, greener world.
